Welcome to MTS Designs! I began sewing for dolls in 1998 and started MTS Designs in early 2002. The auxiliary unit of my sewing machine which allows me to do complex embroidery designs has been a boon to my creativity so please look for embroidery embellishment on several of my designs throughout my website.
Most of my doll clothes have been made for 16" dolls such as Tyler Wentworth by Robert Tonner. Although almost all designs are shown on Tyler and friends on my website, most of my clothing fits all similarly sized fashion dolls with no alteration. If you intend for a doll other than the Tyler line dolls to wear my designs, please let me know when ordering so I can make sure you will get a perfect fit. I now offer designs for the 22" American Model by Robert Tonner and 60cm BJD dolls such as Sooah and Limhwa Half Elf. I will be making clothes for the new Tonner Athletic female body soon.
My doll fashions have been featured in DOLLS magazine (2 times), Haute Doll (5 times), High Style (2 times), Fashion Doll Quarterly-FDQ (2 times) and High Maintenance online magazine (1 time). This recognition of my work is a great thrill for me and I feel very honored.
